Clipper Ventures - posted January 2010

Once again we were asked to brand and design the 09-10 Clipper Ventures round the world yacht race. Many elements make up this project, including brochures, advertising and large format graphics.

The production of the official souvenir programme ‘360’ is however the biggest of them all. Great teamwork from the design team and the client ensured a first class piece of publishing was produced which will have a world-wide coverage. With 09-10 race underway, work has now begun on the 11-12 race.

New clients - posted January 2010

2009 was a very unpredictable year for many - fortunately for us we were lucky enough to take on a host of new clients including Grosvenor Contracts, York Ward & Rowlatt, Broadgreen Peugeot and Croyland Car Megastore. All strangely from within the same industry. Projects have included car brochures, service plans and on-going weekly advertisements.

Also new to our client base were General Demolition where projects ranged from new branding to specialised sub-division company brochure and stationery.

2010

We hope that 2010 proves to be an even better year for us and all of our clients. Happy New Year.

Change of address - posted November 2009

Just a quick note for those that didn’t know. Perception Design has moved - well, kind of! We no longer occupy the ground floor office at Green Lodge Barn. We have moved the design studio up to the first floor so if anyone does just ‘drop by’ please don’t think we are no longer here. Just pop upstairs!

Mr & Mrs Collins - posted June 2008

Somewhat a little late, the whole team would like to congratulate Paul our Creative Director and Gemma on their wedding day back in May. Enjoying a honeymoon visit to New York Paul has some absolutely cracking shots of the Big Apple which we have produced canvas prints from which are available through our Myspace page.

National Lifeguard and Rescue Centre - posted June 2008

Through on-going work with an existing client we were commissioned to produce a new logo design for this organisation. Nick Webb of Barefeet Promotions commented about our work:

"As a multifaceted business our sphere of expertise runs from an adventure centre, lifeguard training, rescue management, first aid training and even a foundation degree course. We needed an umbrella brand to help us communicate the spectrum of our training facility and asked Perception to help us with our thinking. Perception produced a range of initial ideas that were strategic concepts rather than design ideas. Through their expertise and experience they helped to guide us to a further level of clarity and impact, which became the brief for the final designs. We are very pleased with the work they have produced to give us a strong and bold design that communicates the tone of our business perfectly."

Bush & Company - posted April 2008

We were recently approached to take a look at the overall corporate identity and company literature for this new client to help bring them up-to-date. Although quite a sensitive work field, we have worked on designs for the look of the company which will then be transferred onto their literature and website.

Old clients, turned new! - posted January 2008

It has been an honour of ours to work alongside Castle Ashby over the years on many of their activities and we were especially pleased when we were asked to design a new look for their new weddings venture.

The design, look and feel of this brochure was quite a 'self indulgent' exercise allowing us to work with a great setting, good photography and print finishes that really complemented the finished piece of literature. From this we have since worked on the design and layout of the website and exhibition graphics.
